GEORGE

LAX-DFW

WHY ON THIS FLIGHT: Returning from Parent's weekend at UCLA, with my Freshman daughter.

FUN FACT: I almost fell off the leaning tower of Pisa

BUCKET LIST: South African Safari

*MY TWO CENTS*: At first George seemed reluctant to fill out the form and then he came back to the galley and we started talking about him almost falling off the leaning Tower of Pisa.....how exactly does this happen? The stairs are made of marble and very slick, he lost his footing and started sliding, taking his daughter with him. Other than the falling part he said it was incredible. It seems like he has a great relationship with his daughter, I love it. I am close to both of my parents and I really think it has made me a better person, adult and wife. Thanks Mom & Dad!

WHY ON THIS FLIGHT: Wildfire relief crew staffing. Two weeks in Mineral Wells, TX

FACT: I hiked to the top of upper Yosemite falls, Yosemite, CA. Asked my girl to marry me and we now have a 10 month old baby girl named Taylor Grace

BUCKET LIST: Italy, Ireland, South of France and Greece.

GUILTY PLEASURE: Oreo cookies or fudge brownies with milk! Romantic comedy...my wife makes me....

*MY TWO CENTS*: On this flight the person in 11D didn't speak any English at all. There were three D seats in a row that were all harassing each other, I knew that they were traveling together, so I thought I would do some harassing of my own and picked out one of them to fill out the questionnaire. Gregory was happy to do it. I love the fact that he is this big burly firefighter guy, that mentions his girl, his baby girl, cookies, milk and romantic comedies! I was happy to see both sides of him, he is a really great person!

WHY ON THIS FLIGHT: Return from business trip (Raytheon)

FUN FACT: I was camping in Death Valley when it received 6 inches of rain in one day. (Heaviest rain fall in recorded history for Death Valley)

BUCKET LIST: Travel to Europe (Spain, Germany, Italy) (to see old world history)

GUILTY PLEASURE: Hop on my motorcycle and take an all day ride across North Texas, visiting as many small towns as possible.

*MY TWO CENTS*: I love his guilty pleasure. I love driving (a car) through small towns and stopping in for a bite to eat, walk down “main street” and get a feel for the local flavor. My Dad grew up in a small Texas town called Nocona. He worked in the Nocona boot factory when he was a teen. His town is small and when ever our family is there for a visit everyone knows who we are. I like that small town feel, very much. My neighborhood has a bit of a small town feel to it. I know most of my neighbors, we all stop and chat with each other when we walk by or drive up. I can walk to the post office, library, local coffee shop and a bunch of restaurants and bars.

WHY ON THIS FLIGHT: Traveling to Dallas to meet with my client, AT&T.

FUN FACT: Found that Hall of Fame Baseball player, Tony Gywnn is a really nice guy. When headed to see my son’s pediatrician, Tony was the only person, in a crowd of seven, to allow me to enter the elevator with son and stroller before him.

BUCKET LIST: Tuscany, Italy.

GUILTY PLEASURE: Non-stop drinking Mocha Latte’s all day, whenever I can get one. Doesn’t do well for the heart, nerves or jitters, but brings my mind into constant focus!

*MY TWO CENTS*: Growing up in San Diego, I have always been a fan of Tony Gywnn. I have also always heard that he was a great person. I think it is great to hear such a real life true story of how nice a guy he is no matter how famous he is. I do have to comment on drinking Mocha Lattes all day. I completely understand the wanting to do it to stay focused all day, because it certainly helps. I am totally hyper naturally, I usually only have 1 cup throughout the whole day and I am wired!

BUCKET LIST: Italy

GUILTY PLEASURE: Sweets – I love licorice

*MY TWO CENTS: At first I didn’t know if Bryant would do it or not, because he was busy working on his computer. I was so happy that he did. Another thing on my bucket list is to visit Vietnam. Bryant not only visited Vietnam, but worked in an orphanage. I am sure that was an amazing experience. I would have never known that about him if it weren’t for this blog. Thank you to all the wonderful people I am meeting because of this blog!

WHY ON THIS FLIGHT:
Going home

FUN FACT: Was dropped off on a deserted atoll in the Tuamotu's (South Pacific) for 45 days with a small tent, a spear gun and fins/mask. I hated to leave. Lucky for me the freight that was suppose to pick me up, never came. I was picked up by a local from another atoll. We went 60 miles open ocean in a tiny boat to the nearest airstrip. They had a supply plane that came in once a month from Tahiti.

BUCKET LIST: A villa in Sienna, Italy for a month. Prague. Namibia.

GUILTY PLEASURE:
Good wines, delicious foods enjoyed with friends traveling anywhere (just about)

*MY TWO CENTS:
She was hesitant to fill out the sheet at first. She was even hinting at passing it on to another pax, that was teasing her about filling it out. Fortunately she decided to fill it out and included an amazing story about her month plus on an atoll. FASCINATING!!!
